"UPDATE- DO NOT WORK WITH JENNIFER, JUST FOUND OUT SHE NEGLECTED TO TELL ME MORE INFORMATION AND WHEN I CALLED AND ASKED TO HOLD FOR MICHELLE SHE HUNG UP ON ME.

If I could give zero stars I would. Was told I would receive a call back- no call back whatsoever- was told my documents would be sent out next day, no documents, just hung up with customer service and the documents haven’t even shipped! They’re staying I HAVE to return my rents 7/26, but havent released funds on my total loss for me to buy a vehicle because they need forms signed. According to them forms can only be mailed- but they HAVENT mailed them. I was just told possibly 7 business days to receive. How do you give someone a rental for less than 7 business days and refuse to release funds to buy the new car? State Farm has been an issue from the second I signed and I will never recommend them to anyone. Will definitely be switching to Allstate (my former insurance) prices may have increased, but this is not worth the headache. Shame on this local office for lying to me and not returning my call!

Update:
Was told a manager would be waiting in the office until 7:30 PM to release funds for my total loss (as stated in the screenshot of the text message below) and while a manager was there waiting to take the paperwork nobody was able to release funds because the manager in office doesn't have the authority to and there are no Manager available to do so because all those departments are closed. So yet again State Farm has, unsurprisingly, dropped the ball. I have continued to follow up on my claim every single day including on Saturday and continued to receive different answers depending on each person I speak to. At this point my rental is due back on Wednesday. I still do not have funds for a new car. Nobody has extended my rental, which is some thing I have been asking for multiple times, knowing this would be an issue. I am in the exact same spot that I was in when my car was deemed a total loss on Wednesday despite all of my efforts offering to go pick up paperwork from the DMV, which I was told I cannot do...only to wait for my mail to come today (after State Farm REFUSED to expedite or overnight it) which is the exact form I would've picked up from the DMV with no information from State Farm outside of my Vin number and miles that I already had. So I waited from Wednesday to today (Monday) for a paper that I could've had completed on Wednesday to expedite the process but State Farm told me I couldn't. For those wondering it is the Illinois title transfer power of attorney form that is available at every DMV in Illinois but instead I had to wait for Arizona to mail it out to me from State Farm for me to fill it out here in Illinois and have sent back. It seems State Farm is almost actively attempting to delay the claims."
